Job Summary:
The Controls Technician for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Heating, Ventilation and Air
Molding (HVAC) frameworks. The picked up-and-comer will be liable for finishing administration brings in expansion to chipping away at bigger ventures under the bearing of a task chief or controls engineer.
Obligations:
• Installing DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers
• Low voltage wiring
• Troubleshooting, testing and dispatching BMS and HVAC frameworks and gadgets
• DDC Ladder-Logic style programming
• Reading and understanding mechanical plans and wiring charts
• Coordinating work with different exchanges (ie: circuit testers, HVAC experts, handymen)
• Documenting work and strategies
• Properly tending to TCP/IP systems and RS-485 interchanges
• Analyzing and remedying correspondence issues
• Work as per venture timetables and required procedures
• Work on building destinations and follow required security measures
Capabilities:
• Valid class 5 driver's permit
• Controls Technician, Instrumentation Technician, Electronics Technician or comparative recognition got from a licensed instructive organization or meet the identical prerequisites as built up by Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Experts (SASTT)
• Must have the option to play out the physical prerequisites of the position
• Must be OK with PCs and Microsoft Office programs
• Several years of involvement with the controls field is viewed as a benefit
• Previous involvement in Alerton controls is viewed as a benefit
• Previous involvement in Microsoft Visio is viewed as an advantage
